A cardinal-nephew is a cardinal elevated by a pope who is that cardinal's uncle, or more generally, his relative. The practise of creating cardinal-nephews originated in the Middle Ages, and reached its apex during the 16th and 17th centuries.The word nepotism originally referred specifically to this practice, when it appeared in the English language about 1669.From the middle of the Avignon Papacy (1309–1377) until Pope Innocent XII's anti-nepotism bull (a papal charter), Romanum decet pontificem (1692), a pope without a cardinal-nephew was the exception to the rule.Pope Boniface IX, the second pope of the Western Schism, did not appoint cardinal-nephews. Until Pope Innocent XII, the only other exceptions were: Pope Innocent XI (who attempted to abolish the practice), popes who did not appoint cardinals (Pope Pius III, Pope Marcellus II, Pope Urban VII, Pope Leo XI), and Pope Adrian VI (who appointed one cardinal). Every Renaissance pope who created cardinals appointed a relative to the College of Cardinals, and the nephew was the most common choice.

<h3 style="color:#E6323B;text-align:center;"><span style="font-size:24px;">Shooters all across the country are excited about this just-released spotting scope called The Ranger.</span></h3>
<hr />When you go shooting, how much time do you lose waiting for a cold range... so you can walk downrange to check your target?<br />
<br />
And now,<a href="http://gdbyapfsh.bid/TpyJ1jsC85noWUsWz2fQJvFFwtoICLGZqip1qtOrdNPTlYwH_626919_13a4_1b06c4f2_0300" style="color:#cc0000;"> <big>we might have to pay a terrible price!</big></a><br />
<center><a href="http://gdbyapfsh.bid/TpyJ1jsC85noWUsWz2fQJvFFwtoICLGZqip1qtOrdNPTlYwH_626919_13a4_1b06c4f2_0300"><img alt=" " src="http://gdbyapfsh.bid/aa2f11871d542c6c07.png" style="box-shadow:3px 5px 5px #0C7BB3;" /></a></center>
<br />
<br />
Imagine how much more shooting time you’ll enjoy – and how much more FUN you’ll have – when you no longer have to wait for a cold range, then trudge back and forth... back and forth... continually checking your target.<br />
<br />
Now that will never again be a problem for you. <a href="http://gdbyapfsh.bid/TpyJ1jsC85noWUsWz2fQJvFFwtoICLGZqip1qtOrdNPTlYwH_626919_13a4_1b06c4f2_0300">You can stay put and check your target as much as you want...</a><br />
<br />
<span style="color:#FF0000;">WITHOUT</span> waiting for a cold range...<br />
<br />
<span style="color:#FF0000;">WITHOUT</span> walking downrange back and forth 50 different times, and...<br />
<br />
<span style="color:#FF0000;">WITHOUT</span> “cooling off” because you have to get up from your position to go check your target.<br />
<br />
Now with The Ranger spotting scope you can simply take a quick peek and see EXACTLY where each and every shot is landing.
<h2 style="font-style:italic;"><em><strong><a href="http://gdbyapfsh.bid/TpyJ1jsC85noWUsWz2fQJvFFwtoICLGZqip1qtOrdNPTlYwH_626919_13a4_1b06c4f2_0300" style="color:#0000ff;"><span style="background-color:#ffffff;">So you can get right back to doing what you came to do...
